- Do you miss singing in a chorus over the summer?
- Are you an aspiring choral singer who needs to improve your sight reading?
- Do you wish you could sing some of the beautiful choruses in your favorite choral works?
If your answer to any of these is "yes," our first Summer Sing is for you! We will spend an afternoon singing through Mozart’s Requiem with piano and accomplished local soloists. Prominent choral conductors from the Charleston area will take turns conducting movements. We lend you scores for the sing, and YOU are the chorus! A reception will follow the sing as an opportunity to meet and greet other choral singers! This concert features Conrad Susa’s beautiful “Songs and Stories of Christmas: Christmas in the Southwest.” Other selections by Durufle, Rheinberger, and many seasonal favorites. Guest Artists include: host Larry Groce, Ryan Kennedy, guitar, Laurel Thompson, Harp, and Brandon Willard, Marimba.
