ChildSong Prep for 1st and 2nd graders
(non-auditioned) Limit 16   Tuition will be $125 per semester.
Children will also need ChildSong uniforms approximate cost is $30.

There will be one class offered on Tuesdays 4:30-5:30 through the following months: Sept, Oct. Nov. Jan. Feb. Mar. These children will be taught correct singing technique, singing on pitch, rhythm and beat training, music notation on the staff, and many musical games and songs. They will experience creative movement to a wide variety of classical, jazz, and folk music. They will enjoy instrument demonstrations by various musicians in our area. These children will be moved to the ChildSong Chorus program as their skills develop. This WILL NOT be a performance oriented class, although these children will perform a recital for parents in early December and early April.

ChildSong Chorus for 1st and 2nd graders
(auditioned) Limit 20 children. Tuition will be $275 for the entire year 07-08. ChildSong uniform required.

The class is Thursdays 4:00-5:00 through the following months: Sept. Oct. Nov. Jan. Feb. Mar. The children will learn proper singing technique, pitch and rhythm training, music notation, sight singing, interval training, and two-part harmony. They will learn many musical games and songs. This WILL be a performance-based choir and will perform parent recitals in early Dec. and early April. Performing Alice In Wonderland May 08.

DanceSong for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders
(auditioned) Limit 16 children.
Tuition will be $325 for the entire year 07-08. DanceSong uniforms required.

This class will be held for 90 minutes weekly on Thursdays 5:15-6:45 through the following months Sept. Oct. Nov. Jan. Feb. Mar. The children will learn proper singing technique, pitch and rhythm training, music notation, sight singing, interval training, and two/ three-part harmony. They will spend the first 6 weeks working solely on learning the music and the second 6 weeks in each semester learning the music with choreography. They will learn favorite Broadway songs, popular folks songs, and some classical. These children will be given opportunities to perform solos, duets, and trios at recitals as well as the full group songs. They will perform parent recitals in early December and early April. Performing Alice In Wonderland in May 08!

 

GirlSong Chorus for middle school aged girls
(auditioned). Limit 12 girls.  Tuition will be $325 for the entire year 07-08.

The rehearsals will be on Tuesdays 5:30-7:00 through the months of Sept. Oct. Nov. Jan. Feb. Mar. The girls will sing (and play their instruments if they have those skills). They will have opportunities to help choose the music they will perform. They will participate in choosing their own uniforms. They will have opportunities to sing solos, duets, trios, quartets, as well as the choral experience. They will receive music theory and singing lessons in this fun group setting. Performing Alice In Wonderland May 08.
